There’s something so special about being invited back into a family’s biggest moments. This gorgeous pasture wedding in Irrigon, Oregon was exactly that—a full-circle kind of day. A few years ago, I had the joy of photographing the groom’s sister’s wedding. So when I got the message to capture another chapter for this incredible family, I couldn’t say yes fast enough.
This wedding was everything you want a fall wedding to be: rustic, full of love, and so much fun.
A Sentimental Fall Wedding in Irrigon, Oregon
The ceremony took place in a lush green pasture, framed by tall trees that were just starting to turn with the season. The colors were classic autumn—rich, warm, and golden. The couple tied the knot (literally!) with a beautiful knot-tying ceremony that had everyone emotional. And then came one of the most epic first kisses I’ve ever seen—cue the confetti bombs! 🎉
The entire day felt like a celebration of love, family, and laughter. From the grandpa who walked the littles down the aisle as flower girls, to the shot guy taking the place of a ring bearer (yes, really!), it was personal and playful in all the best ways.
Bride in Roselily Bridal | Tri-Cities Bridal Store
The bride wore a stunning gown from Roselily Bridal in Tri-Cities, WA, and she absolutely glowed. Her style fit the day perfectly—elegant yet grounded, with just the right touch of whimsy for a pasture wedding.
And the light? Don’t get me started. We had soft, cloudy skies most of the day, which made for dreamy portraits. Then golden hour rolled in and bathed the entire field in honey-toned magic. Just when we thought it couldn’t get more beautiful, their first dance took place under the most radiant full moon. Literal chills.
Why I Love Coming Back to Photograph This Family
As a wedding photographer, moments like this are why I do what I do. Being trusted to capture not just one, but multiple weddings for a family? That’s the biggest honor. This crew made me feel like one of their own—welcoming, warm, and full of so much love. I left with a full heart (and a full memory card, of course).
If you're planning your own wedding in Irrigon, Oregon or anywhere in the Tri-Cities, WA area, and you're dreaming of a celebration that feels true to you, I’d love to help tell your story.
